5/7/08  ENERGY GRANT INSTRUCTIONS...

The Arizona Energy and Water Savings Grant award recipients were approved by the Board on April 3, 2008 (Development Grants) and May 1, 2008 (Implementation Grants). Award letters are being sent to those districts that received grant funding along with the Terms and Conditions as noted in the Instructions below. Please refer to these instructions to proceed with the energy and water savings projects.

4/11/08  GRAND OPENING A COMPLETE SUCCESS...

Over the past several years, the School Facilities Board has been a very vocal proponent of the installation of waterless urinals in all new school construction projects that we help fund. Well, now we want to let everyone know we are practicing what we preach.

The SFB held a Grand Opening ribbon-cutting ceremony to announce that the men's room at our offices is now outfitted with two water-free urinals. We are so proud of this small contribution to water conservation that we want everyone to share this victory. Please click the link above to see pictures of the event.

Do you have a board room or similar accommodation and would like to host an SFB Board Meeting? The SFB is in need of facilities at which to hold our monthly meetings and would welcome the opportunity to visit your district office or school. 2/22/08  Welcome to the Arizona School Facilities Board's website. We are continually updating and making changes to the site with the hope of making it more user friendly and easy to search for information.

Along the left side, you will see the information has been sorted into our various programs. In each program, you can select to view Forms or Documents. Should you wish to view all forms and documents, you may do so by going through the SFB Overview Menu. You can also use the drop down menus located in the upper right corner of each program section. General documents are located within the SFB Overview section.

Our upcoming Board Meetings and agendas are located in the Calendar/Meetings section. To view previous Board Meeting Minutes, use the drop down menu in the Calendar area and select “past”.

Districts may continue to view their project information through the "District Information” heading across the top.

Please check back often as we continue to add more documents and tools.
