Dean Gray has over 35 years of experience in the construction field including construction project management, facility management, construction procurement and property management. An SFB Liaison for four years, Dean came out of retirement to serve as the Deputy Director of Facilities in 2006. Previously, he worked for the Washington Elementary School District for 17 years as Operations Manager where he managed new construction and renovation projects for the district. Dean has experience in hazardous waste removal, decommissioning of building components, and demolition.

Gerry, who has been with the SFB since it's inception, brings with him more than 32 years in both local and overseas academic and commercial construction experience. He has worked for commercial contractors in New Mexico and Arizona as Project Manager on a wide variety of projects. He has a NM Contractor's License and a Master of Science in Construction Management. He served as a Board member for the Associated General Contractors, New Mexico Branch for several years. He is also affiliated with and has served the American Society of Professional Estimators, American Institute of Concrete, and is a member of the American Institute of Constructors. Sameer Pandey is a graduate of Del E Webb School of Construction, Arizona State University. He holds a Bachelor degree in Architecture. Originally from Nepal, he moved to Arizona in August of 2000 to attend the graduate school at Arizona State University. He has been with Arizona School Facilities Board since April of 2002, and has worked in various capacities in Finance and Project Management. Consulting Architect

A registered architect in Arizona, California, and Nevada, Richard received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Idaho State University. Richard has thirty years of experience in programming and space planning, schematic design, specifications writing, cost estimating, construction and project management. Richard has extensive school construction experience, having been an Associate Architect or Senior Project Architect on over 50 school projects including additions to existing schools, renovations and new school projects. Mike Barfield joined the SFB as a roofing consultant in 2001. In 2004, he joined the SFB staff as a full time district liaison. Mike has 33 years of experience in roofing consulting and is knowledgeable about roofing materials and roofing practices in Arizona. He is available to help districts with roof evaluations, conflicts in roof diagnostics submitted to the SFB, design schematic discussions, and product evaluation.
